Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at our Mambourin centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and organised professional who enjoys creating nutritious meals for children and thrives in a busy childcare environment. Working in our centre kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing healthy, balanced meals and snacks while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

The Opportunity
As the Centre Chef, you will:
- Prepare nutritious and appealing meals and snacks for children each day
- Develop seasonal menus that meet childcare nutrition guidelines
- Manage food ordering, stock control and kitchen budgets
- Cater for children's dietary, allergy and cultural requirements
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and hygiene
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and centre policies
- Build positive relationships with children, families and team members
- Work collaboratively with educators and centre leadership
- Maintain accurate food safety and kitchen documentation
About you
- Commercial Cookery Qualifications / Certificate III or higher
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (HLTSS00061)
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Previous experience in childcare preferred
- Ability to cater for dietary requirements and restrictions including Anaphylaxis, Allergies and Intolerances
- Experience in planning nutritionally balanced meals in line with the Healthy Together Achievement Program
- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at a high level at all times
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work on your own and maintain a clean and functional kitchen
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
