This is a hands-on role supporting our sales operations across multiple Australian states. You will manage customer enquiries, follow up sales opportunities, support tenders and quotations, and work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service and drive sales growth.
Key responsibilities
- Sales Follow-up: Follow up quotations and opportunities with customers across WA and interstate to secure orders and maximise sales.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain robust relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Sales Growth: Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve conversion and win rates.
- Tender & Quotation Support: Review tender documentation, specifications and requirements for accuracy and compliance.
- Sales & Customer Enquiries: Manage the Sales inbox, respond to customer enquiries promptly and provide accurate, professional service.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations and other internal teams to ensure customer requirements are effectively managed.
- Quality & Administration: Maintain accurate records and follow WCCI's quality management systems and procedures.
About you
- 1-2 years' experience in business-to-business sales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Confidence dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
- A willingness to learn and develop your product and industry knowledge.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- Experience in the commercial construction, manufacturing or building products industry would be advantageous.
