Our client is a long-established Melbourne IT services business with a loyal customer base across education. Schools and education providers buy from them every year — managed IT services, laptops and devices, and the support around them. Their sales leader is now focused on the bigger strategic deals, and he needs someone to own the education accounts and grow them.

This is a sales role. You'll have a target, a pipeline and commission on what you close. You'll also have an experienced sales leader in your corner, so you can get runs on the board early and keep building.

What you'll be doing

- Owning a portfolio of education accounts and growing revenue across them

- Uncovering new opportunities — device refreshes, managed services, upgrades — and taking them from first conversation to close

- Building pipeline through calls, meetings and site visits, rather than waiting for orders to arrive

- Writing quotes and proposals that win

- Working with the technical and delivery teams so every deal lands well and leads to the next one

- Keeping your CRM sharp,



so you always know where your number stands

What you'll bring

- Early-career experience in sales, business development, account management or another target-driven customer role

- Drive — you like having a number, and you like beating it

- Confidence on the phone and face to face, and the follow-through to close

- A genuine interest in technology, enough to hold a credible conversation about devices and IT services

- Pace and organisation — you can run several deals at once without dropping any

Education-sector experience, MSP or IT hardware sales, or a CRM like Salesforce or HubSpot will help you hit the ground running.
