Air Conditioning Technician | Commercial HVAC Installation
Seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Technician, Mechanical Plumber, or Refrigeration Mechanic to join a well-regarded industrial services company delivering commercial HVAC installation and equipment changeovers.
This permanent full-time position is based in the greater Melbourne area and offers a stable and supportive workplace.
Role Overview
- Essential skills combining mechanical plumbing and refrigeration/air conditioning trades, with a current driver’s licence.
- Competitive salary range from approximately $85,000 to $115,000 per year.
- Location: northern metropolitan Melbourne region.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out commercial HVAC equipment changeovers including removal of old units and installation of replacements such as various package, cassette, and split system types.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure work meets project requirements and schedules.
- Focus on commercial maintenance and upgrade assignments rather than new construction projects.
- Use a company-provided vehicle for travel to job sites and deliveries.
- Adhere to safety protocols and perform fault diagnostics on air conditioning systems.
