We're looking for a specialist-registered doctor to join our Hobart clinic one to two days a week. The role has two parts:
1 | GP style medicine including skin checks, menopause and peri, skin conditions like dermatitis, melasma, acne, rosacea, for our existing patient base; and medical laser training, where you'll develop skills across our aesthetic and laser modalities, with full training and mentoring provided by experienced clinicians. Friday is our core day. A second day is optional and can be arranged flexibly to suit you.
Key responsibilities
- Provide skin cancer screening and follow-up reviews for existing patients
- Provide menopause and peri menopause advice
- Consult on common skin conditions in conjunction with the exisiting team and treatment modalities
- Develop skills across aesthetic and laser modalities
- Receive full training and mentoring from experienced clinicians
About you
- Hold specialist registration with AHPRA, ideally in general practice (FRACGP or FACRRM)
- Have an interest in skin, dermatology or aesthetic medicine,
and would like to develop it as a subspecialty or area of interest alongside your existing practice
- Be keen to build long-term expertise in this field
- Experience in skin checks, menopause, aesthetics or lasers is regarded but not essential, because full training is provided
