About the Role:
This is a full-time, 2-year contract position at 80 hours per fortnight within the Parkville EMR Team.
The Parkville EMR Project Lead for Patient Experience is responsible for planning and implementing EMR precinct wide change and improvements for patients and consumers working directly with the Patient Experience Optimisation Enablement Group. The role will develop project briefs and reports and lead and co-ordinate work that directly improves the patient experience by introducing new patient facing features through the patient portal and digital platforms across the precinct health services.
What You'll Achieve:
Lead meaningful patient experience improvements through new EMR, patient portal and digital solutions that make healthcare more accessible and connected for patients and consumers.
Drive precinct-wide innovation and standardisation by bringing together health services, consumers, technical teams and stakeholders to design and implement better ways of working.
Deliver measurable outcomes and sustainable change through strong project management, continuous improvement and optimisation of the Parkville EMR.
Classification for this position will range from Grade 8 Year 1 (AO81) - Grade 8 Year 5 (AO85) (FTE base salary $124,912.84 - $137,858.24 per annum, plus superannuation).
Your Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field along and/or relevant industry experience
- Experience in working with EMR or e-Health systems - minimum of 7 years
- Experience in Project Management and/or process improvement and change

The Parkville EMR is a world-class system shared by The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Royal Women's Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and The Royal Children's Hospital to support high-quality,
seamless healthcare in Parkville and improve health outcomes for Victorians. The EMR is used by more than 18,000 clinicians and staff across the four health services and is delivered in partnership with Epic, a global leader in health information technology. The Parkville EMR team is responsible for the day-to-day management, operation and improvement of the EMR. This team will work collaboratively with EMR teams at RCH, the RMH, Women's and Peter Mac.

Other Requirements:
- Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Compliance with RCHs "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedure
