As a Qualified Carpenter, you'll be involved in a wide range of residential building projects from start to finish. No two days or job sites are exactly the same, so we're looking for someone who is confident across different areas of carpentry and enjoys variety in their work.
Key responsibilities
- General residential carpentry
- Current builds, renovations and extensions
- Framing, cladding and fit outs
- Decks and outdoor structures
- Demolition and preparation works
- Reading and working from plans
- Working alongside apprentices, subcontractors and other members of our team
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site presentation
- Following workplace health and safety requirements
About you
- Is a Qualified Carpenter with white card
- Has a current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Has their own basic tools
- Takes pride in producing quality work
- Is reliable, motivated and able to work as part of a team
- Can work independently when required
- Has good communication and problem solving skills
- Has a strong understanding of residential construction
- Is willing to work across a variety of job sites
