THE OPPORTUNITY

This role presents an opportunity for a motivated commercial lawyer to take the next step up in their career. We are seeking a commercial lawyer with 3 – 5 years post admission experience. The ability to maintain and develop client relationships is a must, as is the ability to work autonomously.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, property development, due diligence, property-related transactions and agreements, and general commercial property advice.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

We are looking for a professional, adaptable and reliable lawyer, with an eagerness to provide high-quality legal service to clients. To succeed in this role it is essential that you:

· Hold an Australian Practising Certificate;

· Have 3-5 years’ post-admission experience in commercial law, with a strong focus on commercial property;

· Have strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and property-related agreements;

· Have the ability to manage a variety of commercial property matters, from straightforward transactions through to more complex property transactions and advice;





· Demonstrate a strong client focus and ability to build and maintain client relationships;

· Work collaboratively as part of a team while managing matters autonomously;

· Work well within a team environment, whilst being able to manage client matters autonomously;

· Demonstrate initiative, sound judgement and a proactive approach; and

· Be adaptable and willing to learn.
