Apex Metabolic Health is an Australian, doctor-led telehealth clinic based on the Gold Coast. We provide consultations in men's and women's hormone and metabolic health, built around comprehensive pathology review, evidence-based care and structured follow-up.
About the role
We are looking for AHPRA-registered doctors to join our clinical team as independent contractors. The work is fully remote and flexible, and suits a GP with an interest in hormonal health, metabolic medicine or preventive care.
We welcome applications from all doctors. As we expand our women's health service, applications from female doctors are particularly encouraged, as many of our patients prefer to see a female practitioner.
You keep full clinical autonomy. Every prescribing and treatment decision is yours, made under your qualified obligations to the Medical Board of Australia. Our Medical Director leads clinical governance and peer support.
What you'll do
- Conduct real-time telehealth consultations (video or phone) with patients across Australia
- Review pathology and develop individualised, evidence-based management plans
- Provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up reviews
- Keep accurate clinical records in line with Medical Board and AHPRA standards
- Contribute to our clinical governance, audit and quality processes
About you
- Current AHPRA general or specialist registration with no conditions, undertakings or notations
- FRACGP or FACRRM preferred (other fellowships considered)
- Medicare provider number and PBS prescriber number
- Professional indemnity insurance that covers telehealth practice
- Telehealth experience preferred
- Interest or experience in hormonal, metabolic, women's health or menopause care
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred practice
What we offer
- $137.50 per 45-minute hormone and metabolic consultation
- $70 per 20-minute general or review consultation
- Weekly payment on invoice
- Fully remote, and you nominate your own availability; no minimum roster
- Patient bookings, admin, pathology coordination and support are handled for you
- Telehealth and clinical software provided, with structured onboarding
