Marketing Assistant

At Little Learners Love Literacy®, we give schools across Australia, New Zealand and North America the tools to make that happen, and we’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our growing marketing team and help bring our campaigns to life.

About the role

Reporting to our Marketing Manager, you’ll be a key part of a small, collaborative team, helping deliver the campaigns and communications that reach schools nationwide. You’ll get hands-on experience across the marketing mix, from email, social media and content to events and CRM, while working alongside our agency partners.

This is a outstanding role for someone early in their marketing career who is organised, curious and keen to learn. You’ll have real ownership of day-to-day activity and plenty of opportunity to build your skills as the team grows.

What you’ll do

● Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of multichannel campaigns, keeping projects on track and on time.

● Create and schedule content for email, social media and our website.

● Keep our CRM data accurate and up to date, and help build lists, segments and automated email journeys.

● Prepare regular campaign performance reports and share what you learn with the team.

● Brief and work with designers, printers and agency partners to produce print, digital and video materials.

● Support conferences, webinars and events, from logistics to promotional materials.

● Proofread and check all communications for accuracy and brand consistency.

● Help gather customer feedback and market insights to inform our messaging.

What you’ll bring

Essential:

● A qualification in marketing, communications or a related field, or equivalent experience





● Some experience in a marketing or communications role (internships and placements count)

● Excellent written communication skills and a sharp eye for detail

● Confidence using social media platforms and email marketing tools

● Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines

● A proactive, collaborative approach and a willingness to learn

● A genuine interest in education and improving literacy outcomes

Desirable:

● Experience with a CRM or marketing automation platform

● Basic design skills, for example using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite

● Experience in the education sector
