About the Role

Broadway Barber Shop Sydney is seeking a skilled and experienced Hairdresser to provide professional hairdressing and grooming services to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of hair cutting, styling, and grooming services while maintaining high standards of customer service, hygiene, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Consulting with clients regarding hairdressing and styling requirements.

- Cutting, trimming, shaping and styling hair.

- Performing colouring, bleaching, highlighting and hair treatments.

- Shampooing, conditioning and preparing clients' hair.

- Using and maintaining professional hairdressing tools and equipment.

- Advising clients on suitable hairstyles, treatments and hair care products.

- Maintaining clean, hygienic and organised work areas.





- Providing professional customer service and managing client appointments.

- Keeping up to date with current hairdressing techniques and industry practices.

- Complying with workplace health, safety and hygiene requirements

Skills and Qualifications

- At least one year of relevant hairdressing experience.

- Solid practical hairdressing and styling skills.

- Knowledge of hair cutting, colouring, styling and treatment techniques.

- Good understanding of hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to understand and respond to individual client requirements.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Professional presentation and strong customer service skills.

- Ability to work efficiently in a busy salon/barbershop environment.
