Marketing Manager

At Little Learners Love Literacy®, we give schools across Australia, New Zealand and North America the tools to make that happen, and we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our growing marketing team into its next chapter.

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll own our marketing strategy from start to finish: setting the plan and positioning, running the campaigns, and showing what worked. You’ll lead a team of two direct reports alongside our agency partners, and work closely with our product and customer-facing teams to reach schools across Australia..

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be as comfortable shaping our long-term direction as you are getting a campaign out the door. Success will be measured by the quality and volume of leads we generate and nurture, and by how well our marketing turns customer insight into results.

What you’ll do

● Set and evolve our marketing strategy, with clear plans, objectives and KPIs across channels, customer segments and markets.

● Lead, coach and develop a team of two, and manage our agency partners to deliver high-quality work on time and to brief.

● Plan and run multichannel campaigns across the full prospect and customer lifecycle, keeping messaging consistent in every channel.

● Define our positioning and target audiences in collaboration with our product team.

● Write creative briefs and guide creative direction for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital and video.

● Gather customer and market insights to sharpen our messaging and generate more qualified leads.

● Own our CRM (Hubspot) and marketing automation set-up, identifying process gaps and improving them for the benefit of our customers and the business.

● Track, analyse and report on marketing performance to the CEO,



and optimise based on what the data tells us.

What you’ll bring

Essential:

● Proven success developing and delivering marketing plans and multichannel campaigns

● Experience leading and developing people, and managing agencies

● Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms

● A metrics-driven mindset paired with a creative eye: you can see the big picture and still get the detail right

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships

● Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

● A genuine interest in education and improving literacy outcomes

Desirable:

● Experience in the education publishing or education services industry
