Claremont Podiatry is looking for a motivated, compassionate and team-oriented Graduate Podiatrist (0-2 years’ experience) to join our experienced team in Hobart.

Starting your career as a podiatrist is an exciting time, but they understand that the transition from university into private practice can also be daunting. Their aim is to provide a supportive environment where you can develop your skills and build your clinical confidence.

As a new graduate, you will have the opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of private practice podiatry while working in a team of supportive and collaborative podiatrists.

- General and diabetic foot care

- Biomechanics and musculoskeletal podiatry

- Sports podiatry

- Nail surgery

- Orthotic assessment, design and fabrication

- 3D foot scanning and CAD

- Patient education and preventative care

Your development may include:

- Regular mentoring and case discussion with experience podiatrists

- Support with clinical reasoning and treatment planning

- Gradual development of clinical independence

- Exposure to a broad range of patient presentations

- Opportunities to observe and learn from experienced clinicians

- Development of skills in biomechanics, orthotics,



diabetic foot care and procedures

- Ongoing education and career development.

About the Role:

You will work with a diverse patient base across all aspects of podiatric care.

Your clinical responsibilities will develop progressively as your confidence and experience grow. They want you to become a confident and capable clinician. You will also have opportunities to contribute to service development, participate in education and mentoring and explore areas of podiatry that interest you.

You'll be working in a modern, purpose-built clinic equipped with everything you need to deliver exceptional patient care, including:

- Three spacious treatment rooms in a standalone clinic

- Two dedicated reception staff providing full administrative support

- An on-site laboratory

- 3D foot scanning and CAD software for custom orthotic design

- Shockwave therapy

- A strong commitment to evidence-based practice, innovation and continuous improvement

- $1,000 annual CPD allowance

- AHPRA registration and APODA membership covered

- $3,000 relocation assistance
