ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an experienced Conveyor Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Conveyor Maintenance team during Shutdowns. As a key leader in our conveyor works, you will be responsible for:
- Plan, schedule and execute crew’s workloads to meet shutdown requirements, targets and timeframes.
- Lead HSE by example, conduct pre-start and toolbox meetings; field leadership interactions and workplace inspections.
- Ensure work crews are adequately resourced to complete their jobs in a safe & timely manner.
- Promote a positive culture, leading by example, coaching, and mentoring the workforce.
You will oversee the execution of the Roller Technician activities including:
- Identify and tag faulty rollers.
- Tooling management.
- Experience with belt lifters.
- Experience with hydraulic belt lifters.
- Conveyor idler maintenance.
- Conveyor frame replacement.
ABOUT YOU
Proven capabilities
- Previous experience in labour intensive roles.
- FMG Inducted (desirable).
- Confident in roller changeouts, skirt replacements, conveyor / belt maintenance.
- Confident working at heights.
- Heavy lifting is required for the role- must be able to lift a minimum of 20kgs.
- Rigging experience desirable.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Able to maintain high safety and housekeeping standards.
- Commitment to secure work habits and our core values.
Qualifications
- Appointed Persons – Section 44 / Scheduled 26.
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management is advantageous.
- Working at Heights and Confined Space (issued within 2 years).
- Gas Test Atmosphere and Basic Fire Attack (issued within 5 years).
- Construction White Card.
- Australian Driver’s Licence C Class Manual.
- Valid Working Rights within Australia.
