- Oversee Sydney warehouse operations, ensuring daily KPIs, quality standards, productivity and service levels are achieved
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors and operational leaders to improve efficiency, capability and performance
- Maintain oversight of upcoming installations, deliveries, collections and major projects, ensuring staff, fleet and stock are aligned
- Maintain operational systems, processes and documentation, including job completion, PODs, photos, compliance paperwork and reporting
- Coordinate and support overseas resources and operational activities, including staff scheduling, Emplive, Webfleet, SWMS, inductions, dock bookings, transfer checks and reporting
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of warehouse and operational teams
- Provide leadership and support in managing operational, performance and people issues
- Monitor labour, overtime, fleet and operational costs to maximise resource utilisation and productivity
- Contribute to operational budgets, forecasting and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
About you
You're a confident, accountable leader with a strong warehouse background. You communicate clearly, solve problems before they escalate, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
You will bring:
- Strong warehouse management experience and working knowledge of warehouse operations
- Proven leadership, coaching and conflict-management skills
- Excellent data entry and processing skills, and confidence creating schedules and reports
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn information into improvements
- Excellent time management and delegation skills, with the ability to multitask independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient computer skills
- Integrity, professionalism and a proactive approach to problem solving
