DIALOG Fitzroy is seeking an experienced and commercially focused General Manager Australia to lead the performance, growth and development of our Australian business.

Reporting to the Managing Director and operating as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will have overall accountability for Australian revenue, profitability, productivity, customer relationships, workforce performance, governance and operations.

This is a new executive leadership opportunity for someone who can set clear direction, strengthen business performance and develop sustainable growth across the Australian market.

The opportunity

You will:

- Lead the financial and operational performance of DIALOG Fitzroy’s Australian business.

- Develop and implement business plans, budgets and growth strategies aligned with Group objectives.

- Drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability and productivity.

- Provide leadership, direction and support to Australian Regional Managers.

- Build strong relationships with key customers, industry partners and other stakeholders.

- Strengthen DIALOG Fitzroy’s presence across priority sectors, including terminals, tank maintenance and turnarounds, industrial services and EPC markets.

- Identify and pursue new markets, partnerships and acquisition opportunities.

- Support major customer opportunities and strategic pursuits.

- Ensure strong commercial governance, forecasting, reporting and risk management.

- Oversee compliance with Australian statutory, regulatory and corporate obligations.

- Champion consistent systems, standards and operational practices.

- Promote a strong culture of accountability,



collaboration, safety, customer focus and continuous improvement.

- Contribute to the overall strategic direction and performance of DIALOG Fitzroy as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Working within our “One Business” operating model, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager New Zealand, EPC Delivery and Enterprise function leaders to coordinate resources, leverage specialist capability and deliver the best outcomes for our customers and the wider Group.

About you

You will be an established executive or senior leader with:

- At least 15 years’ senior leadership experience within engineering, construction, industrial services, energy or a related sector.

- Demonstrated accountability for business unit or company-level profit and loss performance.

- Experience leading multi-site operations across geographically dispersed locations.

- A solid track record of delivering revenue growth and improved profitability.

- Experience in strategic business development and key account management.

- The ability to operate effectively within a matrix organisational structure.

- A strong understanding of corporate governance and risk management.

- Demonstrated success in improving organisational performance and culture.

- The ability to balance regional priorities with the long-term interests of the wider business.

You will bring sound commercial judgement, strong leadership capability and the confidence to represent DIALOG Fitzroy with customers, industry bodies, strategic partners and other key stakeholders.
