This part-time opportunity offers 22.5 hours per week across three days and is based fully on-site. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will provide essential support across accounts payable, transaction processing, and financial administration activities.Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and recording financial transactions, ensuring accurate allocation to accounts and cost centres.
- Managing supplier invoices, payment preparation, and accounts payable follow-up.
- Maintaining accurate records to support financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
- Assisting with the recording of income and receipts while supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting activities.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth financial operations.

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts administration, or a similar finance support role.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Experience using Xero, or exposure to cloud-based accounting systems.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small team environment.
