About the role

We are seeking talented Senior and Junior Hairstylists to join our thriving salon team at our Ashfield NSW location. These full-time & part-time positions offer an excellent opportunity to showcase your artistry, technical expertise, and passion for hair care in a professional salon environment. Key responsibilities

Provide high-quality hairstyling services including cuts, colours, treatments, and styling for diverse clientele

Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and hair goals, offering expert recommendations

Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene, safety, and salon cleanliness at all times

Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and client loyalty

Stay current with the latest hairstyling trends, techniques, and products through ongoing professional development

For Senior Stylists: mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, assisting with their skill development

For Senior Stylists: contribute to salon procedures, training initiatives, and team excellence

Manage appointment schedules efficiently and communicate professionally with clients

Maintain detailed client records and preferences to personalise future appointments





Uphold the salon's reputation through exceptional customer service and professional conduct

What we’re looking for

Proven experience as a professional hairstylist with a solid portfolio demonstrating technical skill and creativity (Senior Stylists: 5+ years; Junior Stylists: recent qualification or 1-2 years' experience)

Qualification in hairdressing from an accredited institution or recognised training programme

Proficiency in a wide range of hairstyling techniques including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

A passion for staying current with hair trends, styles, and industry innovations

Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients efficiently

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality results

Professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach to work

Knowledge of hair health, product selection, and client care recommendations

For Senior Stylists: demonstrated mentoring ability and leadership qualities

For Senior Stylists: experience in training, guiding, or supervising other stylists is highly desirable
