Senior Team Lead / Mentor – North Queensland

Pacific Supports & Mentoring (PSM) is seeking an experienced Senior Team Lead / Mentor to join our growing North Queensland team.

This is a hands-on senior position combining team leadership, participant mentoring, stakeholder engagement and operational responsibilities .

The role will initially commence on a part-time basis , with a genuine pathway toward a managerial position within PSM North Queensland as the region continues to grow.

We are looking for someone with strong experience across community services, case management, NDIS, youth services or team leadership who is ready to take the next step in their career.

About PSM

Pacific Supports & Mentoring is an established, locally operated NDIS and Youth Services provider operating across Queensland and Northern NSW.

We deliver disability support, mentoring and youth services focused on building confidence, independence, life skills and community connection .

As we continue to expand across North Queensland, we are looking to develop strong local leaders who can grow alongside the organisation.

About the Role

As a Senior Team Lead / Mentor , you will work closely with PSM management while providing hands‑on leadership across participants, staff and service delivery.

This is not purely an office-based position. You will lead from the front , combining direct mentoring and participant support with staff leadership, stakeholder communication and day-to-day operational responsibilities.

The balance of responsibilities will develop with the role, providing the right person with the prospect to take on greater management responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and support frontline staff

- Deliver high-quality participant mentoring and support





- Assist with day-to-day service delivery and operational coordination

- Build strong relationships with participants, families and stakeholders

- Support participant independence, confidence and community engagement

- Maintain strong communication, documentation and incident reporting

- Identify and respond proactively to participant, staffing and service-delivery matters

- Work alongside management to maintain high service standards across North Queensland

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in community services, NDIS, youth services, case management or a similar sector

- Confident leading and mentoring staff

- Personable, engaging and able to build strong relationships

- Comfortable balancing hands‑on client work with leadership responsibilities

- Reliable, proactive and solution-focused

- Organised with strong communication and documentation skills

- Motivated to take ownership and progress into greater management responsibility

Requirements

- Unrestricted Australian work rights

- Full Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

- Blue Card

- NDIS Worker Screening Check

- National Police Check

- First Aid & CPR

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
