Sandbrook Medical is a new, independently doctor-owned general practice with a particular focus on Women's Health and General Practice. We are seeking an experienced, friendly and organised Medical Receptionist with previous GP reception experience and proficiency in Best Practice software to join our growing team.

Key responsibilities

- Managing patient appointments, enquiries and online bookings.
- Medicare and private billing, including EFTPOS payments.
- Maintaining patient records using Best Practice software.
- Managing referrals, recalls, reminders and correspondence.
- Supporting GPs, nursing staff and the Practice Manager with daily administrative tasks.
- Providing a welcoming and qualified experience for patients.

About you





- Previous medical reception experience in an Australian general practice.
- Proficiency in Best Practice clinical software.
- Sound knowledge of Medicare billing and general practice workflows.
- Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- A friendly, compassionate and patient-centred approach.
- Adaptable part-time hours.
