Key responsibilities

- Thorough cleaning and sanitising of food production equipment
- Daily cleaning of commercial fryers and associated equipment
- Cleaning production areas, floors, walls and work surfaces
- Following food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the loading dock, warehouse and external facility areas
- Waste removal and general facility cleaning
- Completing scheduled deep-cleaning tasks
- Ensuring cleaning chemicals and equipment are used and stored correctly
- Working with the production and distribution teams to ensure the facility is ready for each day's operations
- Identifying and reporting any maintenance, hygiene or safety issues

About you

- Previous cleaning experience within a food manufacturing or food production workplace
- Understand food manufacturing hygiene and sanitation requirements
- Be comfortable cleaning fryers, machinery and production equipment




- Be physically capable of performing a hands-on cleaning role
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be able to work independently and manage a daily cleaning schedule
- Take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Understand the importance of workplace health and safety
