Rio Tinto’s Weipa Operations is seeking motivated Diesel Fitter Apprentices to start early 2027, offering a rewarding trade career with hands-on experience across our heavy mobile equipment. You'll gain practical skills while working under experienced mentors in a energetic mining environment.

You'll work toward a nationally recognised Certificate III in Engineering Fixed & Mobile Plant Mechanic through on-the-job learning, internal training and external study, including TAFE.
