HR Partners is partnering with a well-known industrial large scale mutisite Australian organisation located in the north west of Sydney for the recruitment of an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (Senior HRBP) with a sound heavy industry employee relations and industrial relations skillset. Backed by a well rounded HR team and manager, you will deliver on both operational and strategic HR solutions to business leaders and their people.
Please note, this HRBP's multisite BU covers locations in the Southern Highlands with regular intrastate and interstate travel so someone with the independence and lifestyle flexibility to meet these travel expectations and lives closer to the Southern Highlands would be ideal!
Key areas of responsibility include but not limited to:
- Establishing sound relationships and engaging with key stakeholders within the business
- Actively lead and contribute as a change champion within the business in line with the business, growth and organisational change strategies
- Consult with and support senior management on HR processes, policies and procedures
- Complex ER and IR handling i.e., case management, providing best practice ER and IR advice and coaching on legislation and practices
- Heavy IR: Leading and managing from end to end Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and union negotiations
- Partner with the team leaders and business leaders across all areas of HR including performance management, recruitment and retention, reward and recognition,
organisational effectiveness and remuneration reviews
- Exposure to change and transformation i.e., restructures, changement managment and M&As;
- Commercial, strategic and operational
To be successful in this position, you will be:
- A highly motivated, self-starter, commercial and an experienced HR professional, who brings with them considerable experience in developing high quality HR solutions to enable a business to achieve its key drivers
- Have approximately 6 years of prior HR generalist experience and in a similar role, similar medium to large organisation, multi-site and mixed esp. blue collar industry
- Can work agile and commercially minded
- Have strong stakeholder management and strong experience with employee and industrial relations
- Must have ideally in leading capacity, end to end Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EAs/EBAs) negotiations exposure
- Someone who thrives on being on sites, boots on the ground, rolling up their sleeves and true onsite business partnering with senior leaders
