$164,000 OTE

$100,000 base salary + super + uncapped commission

About the Role

Alfresco Shade is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, responding to customer enquiries, conducting site consultations, and guiding customers through the process of selecting and purchasing quality shade structures.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a strong sales mindset, and can confidently turn customer enquiries into completed projects.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for managing new enquiries, developing new business and guiding customers through the sales process from initial consultation through to project handover.

You'll work with a range of customers across commercial, education, construction and other sectors, selling quality shade and shelter solutions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Responding to new sales enquiries.
- Generating new business and developing your own sales pipeline.
- Conducting customer meetings and site consultations.
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions.
- Preparing and presenting accurate quotations.
- Following up enquiries and quotations to maximise sales opportunities.
- Building relationships with customers, builders, architects, landscapers and referral partners.
- Negotiating and closing sales.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records.
- Working closely with our installation and operations teams.
- Achieving agreed sales and performance targets.

What You’ll Be Selling

You’ll be selling a range of quality outdoor shade and shelter solutions, including:

- Shade sails
- School court structures
- Commercial shade structures
- Custom-designed structures

Don’t have experience in shade structures?

That’s okay. Training will be provided on our products,



systems and sales processes.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in sales, preferably within construction, building products, hard landscaping or a related industry.
- Confident and professional when dealing with customers.
- A strong communicator and relationship builder.
- Commercially minded and results-focused.
- Comfortable negotiating and closing sales.
- Highly organised with strong follow-up skills.
- Able to manage multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales process.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Computer literate and able to use CRM and quoting systems.
- Holds a current driver’s licence and is comfortable travelling to customer sites.

The Territory

Alfresco Shade operates Australia-wide, with the primary focus of this role being the Greater Sydney area.

Sales territories will be allocated to ensure each Sales Representative has a defined and manageable area, with the potential for North and South Sydney territories as the sales team grows.
