Provide direct clinical care to elderly clients, including medication administration, wound care, vital signs monitoring, and ongoing health assessments.

Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized care plans in collaboration with doctors, allied health professionals, clients, and their families.

Monitor and respond to changes in residents’ or clients’ conditions, escalating concerns promptly and ensuring appropriate interventions are in place.

Support daily living activities such as mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and continence care while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with aged care standards, while effectively communicating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers.

Requirement and What you need to do:

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency), with no restrictions.

Nursing Indemnity Insurance.

Staff induction - Complete the staff induction online module in eTrainU. You will not be rostered until the induction module is completed.

Worker screening - Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (and any police check required for aged care work). Tell the office immediately if your status changes.

Identity and right to work - Provide photo ID and, where applicable, evidence of your right to work in Australia.





Codes of Conduct - Read and sign acknowledgement of the NDIS Code of Conduct and the Code of Conduct for Aged Care.

NDIS Worker Orientation Module - Complete "Quality, Safety and You" and upload the certificate.

Qualifications and certificates - Upload qualifications, current First Aid and CPR, and any other certificates required for your role.

Driving (if applicable) - Current driver licence, registratiand comprehensive insurance if you drive for work or transport participants.

eTrainU - theory training - In addition to the induction, complete all other mandatory CaringGroup eTrainU modules assigned to you, and any refresher modules when due.

Competency assessments - People2U - Complete your competency assessments. Each one must be signed off by you and HR management on People, then reviewed and countersigned by the Home Caring Vermont nurses (see Section 3).
