As a Leading Hand with AES, you’ll support scheduled maintenanceand diagnostics on mining equipment, while motivating and inspiringthe workshop team to perform at their best. Communication is key,as you’ll work closely with managers, staff and contractors toensure smooth operations and effective collaboration.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Leading a team of multi-skilled personnel in a safe andcost-effective manner
- Day-to-day activities of workshop personnel
- Technical support and guidance




- Mentoring apprentices and leading by example for allstaff
- Rebuilds and repairs on a wide range of heavymachinery
- Diagnosis, maintenance and repair of large earthmoving andassociated equipment
- Problem solve and manage conflicting priorities

What we are looking for:

- Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
- Previous experience in a leadership role in a manufacturingworkshop environment
- Solid safety focus with a working knowledge of WorkSaferegulations
- Ability to work autonomously
- Tickets and licences EG: Forklift, Dogging, Rigging, WAH,Crane, etc
