HYDAC Australia is a global leader in hydraulic, lubrication and fluid power solutions. We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our Victoria team, assembling, testing and commissioning high-quality hydraulic systems for a diverse range of industries.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assemble hydraulic power units, manifolds, pumps, motors, valves, accumulators and lubrication systems
- Manufacture and install hydraulic tube and hose assemblies
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and engineering drawings
- Test, commission and troubleshoot hydraulic systems




- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and modifications
- Complete quality and testing documentation
- Support Production and Engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard

What We're Looking For

- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Engineering Mechanical Trade or similar
- Minimum 3 years' experience in hydraulic fitting, fluid power or mechanical fitting
- Proven experience in hydraulic system assembly, testing and fault finding
- Strong tube bending and hose manufacturing skills
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Hydraulic or fluid power training
- Forklift Licence and White Card
- Experience in an ISO 9001 environment
- Lathe and milling machine skills
