Sales Executive – Education & Student Recruitment

Superior Training Centre (STC) is growing, and we’re looking for an energetic, motivated and people-focused Sales Executive to join our team at our Ingleburn campus .

We deliver practical, industry-focused training across Electrical, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Plumbing, Carpentry and Engineering/Fabrication , and we’re looking for someone who can help us connect more students with these opportunities.

What you’ll be doing

This is a hands-on sales and student recruitment role where no two days are the same.

You’ll be responsible for attracting, engaging and converting prospective students, while building robust relationships with students, businesses, industry partners and recruitment networks.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and implementing domestic and international student recruitment strategies
- Identifying new leads and converting enquiries into enrolments
- Speaking with prospective students by phone, email, online and face-to-face
- Understanding students' goals and recommending the right course and pathway for them
- Educating prospective students about STC's courses, entry requirements and career opportunities
- Following up leads and managing enquiries throughout the recruitment and enrolment process
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective students
- Developing current business opportunities and referral networks
- Representing STC at career expos, recruitment events, school visits and industry events




- Delivering presentations to prospective students and groups
- Working with internal teams to coordinate student admissions and enrolments
- Preparing Letters of Offer and other student documentation
- Working closely with Accounts to coordinate invoices and follow up payments
- Assisting with student orientation activities
- Providing accurate and professional advice to students and recruitment partners
- Monitoring recruitment activity, results and market trends
- Identifying opportunities to improve our recruitment strategies and processes
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative recruitment initiatives
- Providing student support and guidance throughout the enrolment process where required

Experience & Skills

To be considered for this position, you will have:

- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in sales, education, student recruitment, business development or a similar customer-facing role
- Experience within an RTO or international student recruitment/education agency would be highly regarded
- Knowledge of the Australian VET sector and RTO environment would be advantageous
- Knowledge of the Australian RTO Standards, ESOS Act, National Code and Student Visa requirements would be desirable
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent follow-up and relationship management skills
- A strong customer-service mindset and professional approach
