We are excited to be expanding our Women’s and Pelvic health team at Coral Coast Physiotherapy in Bundaberg.

About the role

You will step into an established and active Women’s & Pelvic Health caseload, while maintaining some diversity through musculoskeletal physiotherapy. There is also the opportunity, if of interest, to have some involvement within the NDIS space.

Your role will come with support to allow opportunities to develop your clinical interests’ areas. You’ll have autonomy in your clinical role, including days where you work independently within your pelvic health caseload, but you won’t be left without support. Case discussion, clinical guidance, peer review and collaboration will always be available.

Our Women’s & Pelvic Health service is continually looking for new and creative ways to support our community. We genuinely welcome new ideas, whether that involves developing new services, classes, education programs or other areas of pelvic health that you are passionate about.

The position is currently based primarily in our Bundaberg location, to work closely with our primary advanced women’s pelvic health physiotherapist. There may also be the flexibility to work across our clinics if desired. What we offer





Your Women’s & Pelvic Health caseload

60-minute initial pelvic health consultations, with clinician discretion when rebooking for 60, 45 or 30- minute follow-up consultations depending on clinical need.

Assessment and treatment of a diverse range of Women’s & Pelvic Health presentations, including; prolapse, pregnancy, persistent pelvic pain, bladder and bowel incontinence, sexual dysfunction, post-operative gynaecological care.

A private consultation room dedicated to pelvic health appointments.

Access to clinical equipment including real-time ultrasound, therapeutic ultrasound, pessary fitting kits and clinical stock, and electrostimulation/biofeedback equipment including; EMG, Pelvitone and TENS.

Administration support and integrated clinical practice management/bookkeeping software.

Mandatory requirements

Professional registration current with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Eligibility to work in Australia

Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised physiotherapy qualification.

APA Level 2 Women’s Pelvic Health - or equivalent competency in internal assessment certification and clinical training

Approximately of 2+ year’s experience in Pelvic health/Women’s health physiotherapy

Minimum 3+ years musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience

Desired but not mandatory

Advanced Women’s & Pelvic Health courses, including WHTA or other recognised pelvic health education.

APA Women’s Health Physiotherapy Through the Life Stages training.

Real-time ultrasound skills for assessment and biofeedback.

Therapeutic ultrasound for breast conditions, perineal scar management and haemorrhoid treatment.

Pessary fitting competency for pelvic organ prolapse and/or stress urinary incontinence management.

Clinical Pilates or rehabilitation-based exercise qualifications.

Not required for application, but will be attained during onboarding (mandatory)

Working With Children (WWC) Check

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Current Police Check (National Police Certificate)

Current “Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation”: HLTAID009
