Provide physiotherapy services within a community rehabilitation framework delivering a client centred, holistic model of restorative and adaptive therapy, which focuses on increasing functional capacity and optimising quality of life.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist (Community Rehabilitation Program) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide goal oriented, time limited therapy to adults with rehabilitation needs
- Support clients with acquired brain injury, amputation, spinal cord injury, and other neurological conditions
- Conduct home visits to deliver physiotherapy clinical care to consumers
- Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to achieve meaningful rehabilitation outcomes
- Provide clinical advice to peers, professional and operational supervisors, and stakeholders
About you
- Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Driver Licence
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Base salary ranging from $3,067.00 - $4,453.50 per fortnight
