Stop Loafing Pty Ltd STOP LOAFING PTY LTD ABN: Trading as: Bakers Delight Employment Type: Full-time, 38 hours per week Salary: AUD 79,600-80,000 per annum, plus superannuation Locations: Warriewood NSW 2102 Brookvale NSW 2100 Freshwater NSW 2096 STOP LOAFING PTY LTD is seeking multiple qualified and experienced Bakers to join its Bakers Delight teams across Warriewood, Brookvale and Freshwater. These full-time positions offer the opportunity to work in a supportive and fast-paced bakery environment while producing fresh, high-quality products for the local community.

Task & responsibilities

- Preparing, mixing, kneading, cutting, shaping and baking bread, rolls, pastries and specialty products in accordance with Bakers Delight recipes and quality standards
- Monitoring the quality of raw ingredients, dough and finished products
- Checking fermentation, proving times, oven temperatures and baking times
- Operating commercial ovens, mixers and other baking equipment safely and efficiently
- Planning daily production requirements and meeting output targets




- Managing stock levels and assisting with ingredient ordering and stock rotation
- Minimising wastage and maintaining accurate production records
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic bakery environment
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements
- Supervising, training and mentoring apprentice bakers and junior team members when required

Qualification & experience

- Certificate III in Baking, Certificate III in Bread Baking, or an equivalent trade qualification
- At least two years of relevant experience as a Baker in a commercial bakery environment
- Sound knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, proving and baking techniques
- Experience operating commercial baking equipment
- Ability to consistently produce bakery products to a high standard
- Strong teamwork, communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required
- A robust commitment to food quality, safety and customer satisfaction
