Your role

As a Project Support Officer within Homes NSW, you will play an important role in supporting the effective delivery of services across multiple business units. Working in a varied and fast-paced environment, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the team and provide reliable, responsive support that helps the organisation meet its business needs and objectives.

What you’ll do

- Provide administrative and operational support to the Business Manager and approximately 130 staff across two directorates.
- Coordinate day-to-day business services, including shared mailboxes, fleet management, accommodation, travel arrangements, waste services, WHS matters and more.
- Process purchasing and financial transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, vendor payments, reimbursements and purchasing card reconciliations.
- Support staff onboarding and offboarding activities, including arranging IT assets, system access, identification cards and asset returns.
- Manages end-to-end operational processes in a high-volume, repetitive work environment, coordinating multiple stakeholders to ensure tasks are delivered from initiation through to completion.
- Maintain registers, dashboards, TRIM records and business systems to ensure information is accurate, current and compliant.
- Liaise with staff, contractors, suppliers, councils and internal stakeholders to resolve enquiries and progress matters.
- Escalate complex, urgent or sensitive matters to the appropriate officer or manager.
- Support meetings,



projects and continuous improvement activities by tracking actions, maintaining documentation and identifying process improvements

What we’re looking for

- Experience providing administrative, secretariat or related support in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with strong general computer skills.
- Proactive and reliable, with the ability to take ownership of routine and repetitive tasks.
- Practical problem-solving skills and the initiative to improve ways of working.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff and stakeholders.
- Must hold a current and valid driver’s licence
