About the Role

BM Webb Building Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Welder to join our professional construction and maintenance team in Mount St John, QLD. Responsible for performing high-quality welding, fabrication, and repairs on a range of structural steel components, machinery parts, and metal assemblies. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on structural steel and metal components
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, plans, and specifications
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and equipment
- Operate workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project and industry standards
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Work independently and as part of a workshop team to meet production deadlines

Skills and Experience Required

- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent qualification




- Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in structural steel welding and fabrication
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
