The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training and assessment across three of our Hospitality qualifications: SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management, and SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management.
Key responsibilities
Run engaging classes that mix theory with hands-on, practical learning
Assess student work fairly and in line with unit requirements
Give students clear feedback and help them stay on track
Keep accurate attendance and student records
Help review and improve our learning and assessment resources
Take part in validation, moderation and ongoing career development
About you
A passion for training, mentoring, and supporting students
Up to 5 years of relevant hospitality industry experience
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or currently working towards it
A hospitality qualification at or above the level you'll be teaching
Solid hands-on hospitality industry experience, ideally including supervisory or management roles
Up-to-date knowledge of how hospitality businesses run today
Clear communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence with Microsoft Office and online learning systems
