About Neudle
Neudle Psychology is a neurodiversity-affirming psychology practice providing therapy, assessment and neuropsychology services to neurodivergent clients across Australia via telehealth. Led by Dr Joey Lawrence, the practice has grown around a strong focus on high-quality, genuinely neuroaffirming care.
That same approach carries through to the way we build our team. Being the right fit for Neudle matters to us just as much as having the right qualifications. We value people who care about their work, take pride in doing it well and share our approach to client care.
We also bring neuroaffirming principles into the workplace itself, through flexibility, autonomy, sustainable workloads and support for reasonable adjustments. We want Neudle to be a place where people can do work they’re proud of and feel supported in doing it.
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced general or clinical psychologist to join our team long term, primarily providing therapy to neurodivergent adults.
This is a fully remote role with an established referral base and flexibility to shape your working week around what works for you and the practice.
The role involves:
- Therapy with neurodivergent adults, including people who are late-diagnosed or exploring Autism and ADHD, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to suit your clients.
- A regular, ongoing caseload with ownership of your clinical work.
- Some opportunity for neurodevelopmental assessments, depending on your experience, interests and our current demand.
- Permanent part-time or full-time employment, with flexibility around your weekly hours and how you spread them across your working days.
- Working from home via telehealth, independently managing your responsibilities and time.
About you
We care about your approach, clinical judgement and the way you connect with people. Whether you’re a general or clinical psychologist, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and shares our commitment to thoughtful, neuroaffirming care.
You’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of neurodivergence. Neuroaffirming principles shape how you work with clients, develop goals together and approach therapy. You respect different ways of thinking, communicating and living, and adapt your practice accordingly.
- A flexible approach to therapy. You’re confident working with adults, building lasting therapeutic relationships and drawing on different modalities to suit the person. You’re interested in what’s useful for each client and willing to reflect and adjust as you go.
- Experience with neurodevelopmental assessments , or an interest in developing in this area, would be welcome. Therapy experience and your approach to client care are our main priorities for this role.
- Sound clinical judgement. You provide careful, high-quality care, feel confident working with more complex presentations and recognise when consultation or additional support is needed.
- Reliability and follow-through. You manage your time well, communicate clearly and stay on top of notes,
correspondence and other clinical responsibilities. You take ownership of your work and flag questions or difficulties early, while drawing on supervision, admin and colleagues when helpful
- Confidence working independently. You’re comfortable managing your work remotely, ideally with previous experience working effectively in WFH roles. You're good at using digital systems and working in a digital environment. Familiarity with Zanda and Google Workspace is useful.
- An interest in being part of the team. You make an effort to connect, share ideas and contribute to a supportive workplace. We value warmth, openness and respect in how we work with colleagues as well as clients.
We also value the understanding that comes from lived experience, whether you’re neurodivergent yourself or have personal experience through family or supporting neurodivergent people. We appreciate clinicians who bring that understanding into their work thoughtfully and professionally.
Why join Neudle?
We know good client care is easier when clinicians are properly supported, have enough autonomy to work in a way that suits them and aren’t stretched by unsustainable caseloads. We’ve built Neudle with that in mind.
Here’s what we offer:
- A fully remote role with flexibility around working days, hours and caseload structure.
- Regular clinical supervision with Dr Joey Lawrence, formal group supervision, and informal peer support, all within paid working time.
- Support for your development with paid professional development leave and an allowance, alongside your usual employee leave entitlements.
- A sustainable workload with time built in for notes, admin, supervision, meetings, and the other work that comes with providing good care.
- Consistent client referrals, with no expectation that you market for or source your own caseload.
- Practical support from a dedicated admin and practice management team.
- Equipment and systems provided. A work laptop if you’d like one, or the option to use your own suitable device. Access to our practice systems, Google Workspace, telehealth, and approved AI tools is included.
- A neuroaffirming workplace. Respect for individual differences, support for reasonable adjustments, and open conversations about what helps you work well.
