The roleThis role is responsible for delivering high-quality second-level technical support, managing incidents, problems and changes through ITIL-based service management processes, and providing expert advice on videoconferencing and audiovisual technologies. This is a role with a tangible statewide impact, supporting videoconferencing technology that connects healthcare services across Queensland and helps ensure clinicians and patients can access effective and reliable virtual care.This is a statewide operational role requiring regular travel to Queensland Health Hospital and Health Service facilities, including rural and remote locations. Travel may vary from single-day visits to deployments of a week or more, depending on operational requirements. The role also involves physical and hands-on work, including lifting and carrying equipment, working at heights, accessing ceiling spaces and confined areas, and safely using basic hand and power tools.The role offers a diverse mix of technical and operational activities, including technical room design, testing, configuration, installation and commissioning of Telehealth videoconferencing solutions, vendor and AV installer liaison, development of processes and procedures, technical problem-solving and continuous improvement of service delivery. The position provides the prospect to work with a broad range of technologies and stakeholders while contributing directly to the delivery and support of statewide Telehealth videoconference services.The successful applicant will have strong hands-on technical capability, excellent communication and customer service skills,
