The part you will play
As part of the Maternal & Child Health team you will work closely with the community. You will: Provide the Victorian Maternal and Child Health Service Program using a family centred partnership approach in accordance with the service program guidelines and standards. Facilitate group work, including new parent groups, drop-in programs,
and group-based initiatives Support and participate in the student clinical placement program within the Maternal and Child Health Service.
Let’s talk about you
- Have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Division 1 Registered Nurse and Midwife.
- Hold Postgraduate qualifications in Child Family and Community Health- Maternal Child Health Nursing
- Have demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide and deliver the Victorian Maternal & Child Health program to the diverse range of families with young children from birth to school age.
- Have demonstrated knowledge of primary health care, health promotion and principals of early intervention.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the provision of a quality service and continuous improvement.
- Bring well-developed communication skills including interpersonal and written skills.

- Fixed Term, Part time – Ending 24 September 2027 (0.84 FTE) The total remuneration package dependant on experience is from Year 1 $106,096 to Year 5 $112,603 + Super + Allowances
