About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Chefs de Partie to join the kitchen team at Horizon Restaurant on a full-time basis .

This is a hands-on role suited to a passionate Chef de Partie who enjoys working in a high-volume environment and takes pride in delivering quality, consistent food across every service. You’ll play an important role in daily kitchen operations, working across preparation, cooking, buffet presentation and service while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene.

The role is full-time and paid by the hour, meaning you are paid for every hour you work, including applicable penalty rates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, cook and present high-quality food across the Horizon kitchen
- Support daily buffet preparation, presentation and service
- Maintain consistency, quality and presentation across all food offerings
- Work efficiently during busy breakfast, lunch and dinner service periods
- Follow recipes, preparation methods and food quality standards
- Assist with stock rotation, storage and maintaining appropriate food levels
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe workstation at all times




- Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and F&B; teams
- Support the Sous Chef and senior culinary team with daily kitchen operations
- Contribute to a positive and skilled kitchen environment

About You:

- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie
- Previous experience in a high-volume hotel, restaurant or buffet environment
- Buffet experience is highly desirable
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills
- Passion for quality, consistency and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm during busy service periods
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations
- Reliable, professional and committed to working as part of a team
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and public holidays

Full Australian working rights (sponsorship not available for this role)

Full-time employment with hourly pay
