We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Talent Acquisition Officer to support recruitment activities within a local council in Melbourne's south-west.

This role involves:

- Coordinating recruitment processes from advertising through to offer and onboarding
- Supporting candidate screening, interviews, employment checks and recruitment compliance
- Managing recruitment administration and maintaining accurate records in recruitment systems
- Working closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand and support their recruitment needs
- Providing clear and timely communication throughout the candidate journey
- Building positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers and stakeholders
- Managing competing priorities while delivering a high level of customer service

We are open to candidates with previous recruitment experience, either in-house or agency, as well as those with solid administration, customer service or stakeholder engagement backgrounds who are keen to develop a career in recruitment.

Experience within local government or using recruitment systems such as PageUp will be highly regarded.
