Experienced Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Support Worker for an immediate start to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred support to our participants. The successful candidate will have experience supporting people with mental health conditions and physical disabilities , and be confident assisting with personal care, domestic assistance, daily living activities and community access. with the ability to build positive relationships and provide support tailored to each participant’s individual needs and goals

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and use of hoists or equipment.
- Administer medication as trained.
- Support clients to attend appointments, activities, and community outings.
- Monitor client wellbeing and report any concerns.
- Maintain clear records and follow company procedures.
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and team members.

Requirements

- Previous experience in disability, aged care, or community support work.
- Comfortable providing personal care and manual handling support.
- Experience with mobility equipment, or willingness to learn.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
- Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willing to obtain).
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
- Solid verbal and written English communication skills.
