One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experienced Senior Research Data Analyst to play a key role in enhancing business decision-making with data.

Working with stakeholders to understand their needs, conducting research and extracting relevant data, performing analyses, and delivering reports to technical and non-technical audiences.

The successful Senior Research Data Analyst will secure a 12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate!

The successful Senior Research Data Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Apply appropriate quantitative, statistical and analytical methods to identify patterns, trends, risks, opportunities and limitations in data.
Develop fit-for-purpose datasets, data models, measures and indicators to support monitoring, reporting, research, evaluation and performance analysis.
Prepare explicit analytical products, including reports, dashboards, briefs, visualisations and presentations,



that translate data into practical insights for technical and non-technical audiences.

The successful Senior Research Data Analyst will have experience in the following:
Undertaking data analysis, reporting, research or evaluation activities, including the application of quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, prepare, analyse and interpret information from multiple sources.
Ability to develop and maintain datasets, data models, measures, indicators or other analytical products that support evidence-informed decision-making.
