We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home and Community Care Worker to join our team on a casual basis.
As a care worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals in their homes and communities to help them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
Assisting with household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
Accompanying clients to appointments and social outings
Following care plans and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
Requirements:
Full Australian Drivers License
Police check
Working with children check
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassion and empathy for others
Reliability and punctuality
