An established insurance broker is looking to strengthen its Small Business team with an experienced Commercial Account Handler.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a
fast-paced, high-volume environment
and has experience working with e-trade insurance products.
The role is heavily e-trade and system-driven, giving you responsibility for a high volume of Small Business policies while working closely with clients and insurers.
The role
You'll be responsible for managing existing Small Business policies, ensuring clients receive a professional and efficient service.
You'll also have the chance to identify cross-selling opportunities and develop your insurance knowledge within a supportive and growing team.
Key responsibilities
Managing existing Small Business insurance policies
Dealing with clients and insurers on a day-to-day basis
Advising clients on existing insurance products
Completing premium finance arrangements
Identifying cross-selling opportunities
Maintaining accurate and compliant records
Ensuring FCA and company procedures are followed
Building robust client relationships
Managing your own workload and meeting deadlines
Taking part in ongoing training and development
About you




You'll ideally have:
Previous experience in a commercial insurance broking environment
Experience working with e-trade insurance products
Robust administration skills and excellent attention to detail
Good knowledge of FCA compliance
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent organisation and time management
Good IT skills
Acturis experience would be advantageous
