MRI Radiographer – Norwest Medical Imaging

We are seeking an experienced and motivated MRI Radiographer to join our team at Norwest Medical Imaging.

Norwest is a modern, well-equipped comprehensive practice featuring 2 MRI Full licence MRI machines (Siemens and GE), GE APEX Volume CT, 3D mammography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, DEXA, CBCT and DR.

Our fully funded MRI service has a strong specialist referral base and offers an engaging and diverse case mix across MSK, neuro and body imaging. The service operates seven days a week, with weekday shifts ranging from early morning through to evening, together with weekend shifts.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRI Radiographer looking to further develop your skills while working with experienced radiologists and a supportive multidisciplinary team.

The role

- Perform a broad range of MRI examinations, producing consistently high-quality diagnostic images
- Provide a high standard of patient care and service throughout the imaging journey




- Work closely with radiologists and other members of the clinical team
- Build positive relationships with patients, referrers, colleagues and managers
- Work across other imaging modalities as required, depending on your skills and experience
- Maintain the highest standards of clinical quality, patient safety and professional practice
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive team workplace

About you

- A minimum of 2 years' MRI experience
- Current AHPRA registration and relevant radiation licence
- Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology / Diagnostic Medical Radiography
- Membership, or eligibility for membership, with the relevant professional body
- Experience performing MRI across a broad range of anatomical regions and examinations
- GE and/or Siemens imaging experience will be highly regarded
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong patient care, communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible approach to varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence
