Priority Podiatry Clinic is seeking a Hybrid Community & Clinic Podiatrist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Toowoomba, QLD. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to combine clinical practice with community outreach work.
You will divide your time between our clinic-based services and community healthcare settings, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on patients' foot health across diverse environments.

Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive podiatric assessments and treatments to patients in both clinic and community settings
- Deliver preventative foot care education and health promotion initiatives to community groups and vulnerable populations
- Manage patient caseloads, maintaining detailed clinical records and ensuring continuity of care
- Conduct foot health screening and assessments in community venues, aged care facilities, schools and other outreach locations
- Develop and deliver tailored podiatric treatment plans addressing patients' individual needs and circumstances
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, community workers and organisations to ensure holistic patient care
- Contribute to clinic operations, including maintaining equipment, managing appointment schedules and supporting administrative processes
- Keep abreast of current podiatric practice standards and evidence-based treatments, maintaining professional development
- Identify and respond to patients with complex or high-risk foot conditions, escalating care appropriately
What we're looking for
- Current registration as a podiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Tertiary qualification in podiatry or equivalent recognised by AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in providing podiatric care across varied patient populations and settings
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with the ability to manage diverse foot conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families and colleagues
- Experience or demonstrated interest in community health and preventative healthcare approaches
- Ability to work autonomously in community settings whilst maintaining strong collaborative relationships within the clinic team
- Sound organisational and time management skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
- Qualified commitment to ongoing learning and maintaining current knowledge of podiatric best practice
