This NASDAQ listed, global Ecommerce platform is looking for a current Sales Development Representative to join the team. Reporting to the Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying opportunities with a variety of retail, fashion and apparel brands.
What you'll be doing: n
n
Kickstarting the sales cycle - data entry, data cleansing, account targeting etc
n
Researching and identifying brands for prospecting
n
Cold and warm outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, events etc
n
Analysing potential customers' existing tech‐stack
n
Updating and maintaining CRM records
n
Working closely with the wider Sales team internally as well as others in the business
n
What you'll need to get the job: n
n
Minimum one year's experience in a similar Sales Development / Business Development role at a junior level, within a tech‐focused business (e.g., eCommerce, SaaS, Martech or Fintech)
n




Proven experience in successfully prospecting potential accounts and building a sales pipeline
n
Ability to engage with business and department leaders, and senior stakeholders
n
Data‐driven approach to outreach and the ability to target the right brands that fit the business and what they offer
n
Experience using and updating CRM and associated records (e.g., Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Hubspot or similar)
n
Must have a 'hunter' mentality and be hungry to sell / open doors
n
Must be comfortable cold‐calling
n
A genuine desire to further your sales career in the SaaS / eCommerce space
n
Please Note n
This role is only open to those with full working rights in Australia and will be required three days a week in the CBD office.
