We're partnering with a well-established organisation undertaking an exciting data and analytics transformation and are seeking an experienced
Analytics Engineer
to join the team on an initial 3-month contract.n
nThis role will play a key part in delivering a backlog of high-priority reporting and analytics initiatives, helping to build scalable data models and empower the business with meaningful insights.n

nWhat You'll Be Doing n
n
Design and develop dimensional data models using best-practice methodologies
n
Create and maintain semantic models within Power BI
n
Build intuitive dashboards and reports that drive business decision-making
n
Work across the Microsoft Fabric platform to deliver up-to-date analytics solutions
n
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting outcomes
n
Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across reporting assets
n




Support the ongoing uplift of the organisation's analytics capability
n
About You You'll be a hands-on Analytics Engineer or Senior BI Developer who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and turning business requirements into impactful reporting solutions.n
nKey Skills & Experience n

Strong experience with
dimensional modelling
(Kimball / Star Schema)
n
Advanced
Power BI
development skills, including DAX and semantic modelling
n
Practical experience with
Microsoft Fabric
n
Robust SQL skills
n
Experience managing and delivering reporting backlogs
n
Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions
n
Solid communication and documentation skills
n
Experience working within Agile delivery environments
n
Desirable n
n
Experience with Azure Data Services
n
Data engineering exposure across modern cloud platforms
n
Understanding of data governance and self-service analytics principles
