Work Type: Full Time
Salary: 65K to 70K + super

We have an exciting opportunity for a chef de partie at this venue within 100km from Melbourne.
n
Successful candidates will have a robust work ethic, and the ability to perform in a rapid paced kitchen. In return you will be provided with a work place where you will be able to continue to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of a supportive team and sponsorship is available however the candidate must already be in Australia to apply.

Salary Range:
$65,000 – $70,000 Plus Super
Duties n
n
Menu planning
n
Estimating food and labour costs
n
Liaising with suppliers
n
Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
n
Ensuring hygiene regulations are met
n




Freezing and preserving foods
n
Qualifications n
n
Completion of a relevant Commercial Cookery qualification including Cert IV or Diploma of Hospitality are a minimum requirement.
n
Minimum of 3 years experience is also a requirement for this CDP role
n
Experience Required n

Show sound cookery techniques and ability to learn new ones
n
Work well under pressure
n
Team oriented
n
Positive, punctual and skilled approach
n
Familiar with food safety and OHS guidelines
n

Competency with ordering and managing stock
