Business Development Manager (OTE) $120,000 / Year n
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving revenue growth by securing recent property listings and expanding the agency's rent roll. This role requires a high-energy sales professional who can cultivate strategic industry partnerships and collaborate with internal sales and property management teams.
Key responsibilities n
Execute consistent daily outbound prospecting activities to identify and secure new business
n
Assertively follow up on all incoming leads, database contacts, and market opportunities to maximise conversion rates
n
Prepare and deliver professional, high-impact listing presentations and rental appraisals to prospective landlords
n
Conduct minimum standards and compliance checks for all recent listings
n
Proactively build and foster referral networks with external business partners, including Buyer's Agents, Tax Agents, Conveyancers, and Mortgage Brokers
n
Maintain seamless relationships with the internal Sales Team and Property Management department to capture and convert internal referral pipelines
n
Assist in the development, implementation,



and execution of local branding initiatives and promotional activities
n
Guide and educate prospective and existing landlords regarding statutory minimum standards and new rental regulations
n
Conduct formal exit interviews with lost clients to identify service gaps and maintain a follow-up pipeline for future re-engagement
About you n
Previous BDM, Sales or Property Management experience
n
Solid knowledge of Victorian Residential Tenancies legislation
n
Natural relationship builder who enjoys meeting new people
n
Confident communication and presentation skills
n
Proactive and commercially minded approach
n
Strong organisation and time management skills
n
Current Agents Representative Certificate
n
Current Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
