Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking
2 x experienced Boilermakers
for our client, a well-established engineering and fabrication business servicing the mining, resources and industrial sectors. Based in Canning Vale, this role offers an immediate start with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Workshop based

Monday to Friday
n
6am/7am Start – work an 8-hour day (40 hour week base)
n
$55 - $60 p/hr + penalties (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities: n
n
Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium and other metals.
n
Perform flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) on heavy structural and industrial components.
n
Carry out welding, fabrication and repairs on heavy equipment, rigs or mining-related equipment.
n
Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and welding specifications.
n




Set up welding equipment, select appropriate settings and prepare materials.
n
Complete high-quality welds to required WPS, quality and safety standards.
n
Conduct visual inspections and identify weld defects or inconsistencies.
n
Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean and protected work area.
n
Requirements n
n
Relevant trade qualification with experience
n
Forklift ticket (highly desirable but not essential)
n
Gantry crane ticket (highly desirable but not essential
n
Valuable level of physical fitness, with the ability to perform manual and labour-intensive tasks
n
Full working rights
n
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
Ability to pass weld test before commencing
n
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol tests
